The room, nestled within the beautiful grounds and gardens, provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. The pool was an added bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. The breakfast spread was sumptuous, offering a plethora of delicious options to start the day. The owner, Luigi, even shared fascinating stories and insights into the history of the area. It was a pleasure getting to know his daughter, Rita, who works at the hotel and has a passion for archaeology. The family's long-standing presence in the town adds an extra layer of authenticity to the experience. I can't say enough positive things about Hotel Villa Rita. My stay was truly memorable, and I highly recommend this classy establishment to any visitor in Paestum. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in the beautiful countryside near ancient ruins. The hotel's location was perfect, situated under the mountains of southern Italy, offering a serene and picturesque setting. The hotel offered a great value for money, with affordable prices and many facilities available. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with free air conditioning and a balcony that provided a perfect view of the enchanting garden area. The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the ancient Greek Temple ruins at Paestum. It is just a short walk away, allowing you to easily access the historical site. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, making your stay enjoyable. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and is of excellent quality. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and provide a pleasant view of the surrounding area. Additionally, the hotel offers facilities such as a pool and gardens for you to relax in after a day of exploring.

There is one drawback to this hotel. The wifi connection can be inconsistent at times, which can be frustrating for guests.

Super friendly. A wonderful collection of art. Easy 5 minute walk to the Temples. The dinner at the hotel was good value.

A bit tough to find when walking but such a nice and peaceful place once you reach it. You can take the boardwalk to the left before the big wall when coming out of the train station and follow it as it curves to the left. Then walk along the road...straight...until you reach Villa Rita. Pool and grounds looked nice. The dinner was lovely...16 Euro each plus cost of drinks for a three course meal. Great location to the Paestum archeological site. Breakfast was good. Host was kind enough to drive us to the train station in the morning.

villa rita surpassed expectations: outstanding location, free bicycles to explore, friendly staff, basic but comfortable rooms, good breakfast. exceeded my previous stays in capaccio and provided a much-needed relaxing break. will definitely return on my next trip.

I booked a room with a comfortable bed, central heating and a work desk.

Once is not enough to experience the enchantment of Villa Rita. The owner took us out to see fireflies in the garden, capturing one for my wife. The tranquil setting, delicious food, and helpful staff made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel.
